    Founded in 1955, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein) is one of the nation’s premier institutions for medical education, basic research and clinical investigation. A full-time faculty of some 2,000 conducts research, teaches, and delivers health care in every major biomedical specialty.     • perform simple or moderately complex technical procedures
    • behavioral testing of laboratory animals
    • require only infrequent guidance and will be responsible for odering supplies and equipment for the laboratory
    • may occasionally train or guide othr technical personnel
    • may modify experimental protocols
    • occasionally analyze and interpret data
    • An understanding of moderately complex scientific literature and moderate understanding of research goals and rational is requred


    • Required to have at least a bachelor's degree in a related science or equivalent skills or experience
    • 2-4 years experience
    • This position requires behavioral testing of laboratory animals in a thriving Rodent Behavioral Evaluation Core with many interesting and diverse projects.  The applicant should have experience with handling laboratory animals (both rats and mice). 
    • Good knowledge of Excel (data entry, database, formulae), Word and Outlook and a working knowledge of the basic principles of scientific experiments. 
    • Must be organized, efficient and have a strong work ethic. 
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English is required
