    The Medical Assistant will join the Human Longevity Research Program at Einstein's Institute for Aging Research, which includes two epidemiologic studies with more than 2,800 subjects recruited to date.  The responsibilities of the Medical Assistant will include on-site and remote collection of clinical research data from study subjects, including administration of questionnaires and blood draws.


    Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Perform remote and on-site study visits to collect study data that includes questionnaires, physical assessments such as blood pressure measurements, electrocardiograms, pulmonary function tests, grip strength, and collection of a blood sample.
    • Obtain and organize data for the adjudication of clinical study outcomes
    • Assist with preparation of paper and electronic data collection forms for the adjudicaiton of clinical outcomes
    • Organize and maintain inventory of samples in biorepository and prepare samples for specific projects
    • Organize and collect data for studies or special projects


    • Associate Degree or equivalent skills and experience 
    • Certified phlebotomist
    • Related experience (i.e. phlebotomy, electrocardiography)
