    This position is within the Young Adult Type 1 Diabetes Clinic at Einstein-Montefiore. The Psychology Assistant will assist the Principal Investigator with the recruitment of study participants and collection of data in addition to being responsible for program management for the young adult diabetes clinic.



    • Implement study protocols;
    • Perform data collection and quality control of study data;
    • Develop recruitment methods and recruit candidates into study;
    • Oversee the process by which participants are recruited into the study;
    • Develop and implement methods to track and follow-up with study participants;
    • Implement quality control procedures;
    • Manage regulatory materials and processes for study protocols and continuing IRB reiews;
    • Assist in the preparation of grants for future studies.


    • Assisting Dr. Agarwal in tracking patients within the young adult diabetes program
    • Serving as the lead liaison for clinical staff for the program
    • Helping to organize events for the program


    • Bachelor's Degree required. 
    • 1-2 years of related experience. 
    • Skills Needed:
    • Experience with REDCap
    • Experience with Community-engaged work preferred 
    • Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry using acomputer data system
      Good interpersonal skills as this job requires heavy patient contact
    • Experience in health related field required
    • Organized and detail-oriented work style
    • Open communicator skills required
