POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sheryl and Daniel R. Tishman Cognitive Neurophysiology Laboratory (CNL) and Human Clinical Phenotyping Core (HCP Core) at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is currently seeking an Project Coordinator. This role includes a wide array of administrative duties that relate to the lab's multidisciplinary translational research program.   • Help ensure efficient operations at the Cognitive Neurophysiology Laboratory and Human Clinical Phenotyping Core.
  • Provide general administrative support to Dr. Sophie Molholm as Director of both the Cognitive Neurophysiology Laboratory (cognitiveneurolab.com) and Rose F. Kennedy Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Research Center (IDDRC) (einsteinmed.edu/centers/iddrc)
  • Oversight of time and attendance of all lab personnel and preparation of job requisitions, new hire paperwork, offer letters, appointments, and visa documentation. Ensuring set-up of new personnel and access to systems.
  • Oversee requests for purchase of supplies and equipment. Assist with booking travel and reimbursement requests.
  • IRB responsibilities include preparing, managing, and amending all our studies, including creation of required documents and ongoing progress reports, and ensuring that the CNL team complies with evolving IRB policies and study protocols.
  • Financial responsibilities include budget preparation and expense tracking. Verify and update effort status and reports for all lab members.
  • Assist with grant submission, tracking, and progress reports for all funded projects.
  • Serve as a liaison between Principal Investigators and the Departments of Human Resources, Academic Appointments, Research Fellows Office, Procurement, and Finance.
  • Coordinate and assist with logistics for CNL and IDDRC events
  • Facilitate submission of work request and tickets with Housekeeping, Engineering, and IT.
  • Assist with writing content for IDDRC newsletter
  • Manage social media accounts and assist with website updates for the CNL and IDDRC
  • Work closely with senior administrator to provide seamless support to the CNL team

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of related experience.
  • A combination of education and prior related experience may be considered.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.
  • Detailed oriented and ability to manage multiple projects at times with competing priorities.
  • Speaks clearly and expresses self well in one-on-one conversations and groups.
  • Develops effective written communications and uses them appropriately.
  • Interacts and proactively shares information with internal and external contacts where appropriate.
  • No direct management responsibility but must be able to develop effective relationships with peers, students and employees.

Minimum Salary Range

USD $63,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Salary Range

USD $68,000.00/Yr.
