POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The person will:
- Perform a few, relatively simple, technical procedures;
- labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, shipping, and storage of samples and record keeping of specimens as they enter and leave the BARC laboratory and/or the Biorepository
- Require intermittent guidance;
- Rarely be responsible for ordering routine supplies; Rarely analyze data.
- Enter data into database
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required to have at least a High School diploma and one year of technical school, or an Associate's degree or equivalent skills and related experience.
- The technician will be required to travel between campuses occasionally and will work at both campuses within our laboratory space.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract.
