The Research Nurse in the Clinical Research Center (CRC) at the Einstein-Montefiore ICTR plays a critical role in the implementation of early-phase and translational clinical research studies. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Research Nurse supports Principal Investigators in conducting high-quality, compliant, patient-centered research. Responsibilities span the full lifecycle of study visits, including subject intake, clinical assessments, specimen collection, protocol adherence, documentation, and patient safety monitoring.
Scope of Responsibility
The Research Nurse will work under the direction of the CRC Director and in close coordination with the ICTR’s Clinical Research Center staff, investigators, and coordinators. The role requires independence, judgment, and flexibility, particularly in executing complex protocol procedures and responding to participant needs. The position does not have direct supervisory or budgetary responsibilities but may provide training support to junior staff and students.
