Research Technician A

The position primarily required someone to be diligent in maintaining primary cell cultures for downstream analysis. The technician will be responsible for lab housekeeping duties (making buffers, autoclaving, and cleaning). The protocols involved are standard, and the level of technical expertise required will be minimal.
• Perform a few, relatively simple, technical procedures;
• Require intermittent guidance;
• Rarely be responsible for ordering routine supplies;
• Rarely analyze data.

• Required to have at least a High School diploma and one year of technical school, or an Associate's degree or equivalent skills and related experience.
