POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interview potential study participants for selection into the study;
  • Follow safety protocols which may vary in accordance with the weather, project activity and areas assigned;
  • Assist in sourcing and recruiting a diverse pool of qualified field of participants by contacting community organizations, educational institutions, etc;
  • Participate in field recruitment selection process (i.e. college recruiting, college relations, job fairs, etc.) to recruit study participants;
  • Maintain study database;
  • Assist in the development of recruitment and retention strategies for participant enrollment;
  • Review interview data for accuracy by fieldwork staff prior to submission to Assistant Project Director;
  • Evaluate and screen communities to determine method of strategy and plan of action for canvassing participants;
  • Assist interviewers on door-to-door screening, interviews and recruitment policies, processes, practices and procedures when necessary;
  • Assist the investigators with study related focus groups;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma and at least 2 years of administrative support experience is required.  Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
