About Us

The Albert Einstein College of Medicine seeks a Sr Clinical Interviewer.  The candidate will assist in recruiting subjects. This will include working as a member of a team, conducting the enrollment of study participants by virtual visits and entering data into the study.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assists in recruiting subjects to participate in the study by using approved methodologies, such as, reaching to healthcare providers for referrals, visiting clinics, sending mailouts, using approved advertisements, etc.

2. Assist in the development of recruitment and retention strategies for participant enrollment;

3. Evaluate and screen communities to determine method of strategy and plan of action for canavassing participants.  
4. Conducts the enrollment of study participants, including explaining research procedures, and obtaining informed consent of subjects and/or their families.
5. Schedules appointments of study participants; conducts reminder phone calls and/or sends mailouts.
6. Performs virtual visits with subjects to collect data via video or telephone.

7. Reviews the data collection forms for each enrollee for completion and quality; ensures timely and accurate entry.

8. Follows established protocols

9. Enters data in the study database with precision and accuracy.
10. Assist the Prinicipal Investigator in generating reports from the study;
11. Assist the Prinicipal Investigator with study related focus groups;

12. Perform other research-related tasks assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma with two years of administrative support experience is required; Equivalent combintation of education and experience will also be required.
  • Bilingual - Fluent and proficient in both English and Spanish (written and oral)
    • Bachelor's degree in Science or Psychology-related field preferred
    • Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office; may use other web based programs as assigned;
  • Must demonstrate good judgement, initiative and attention to detail;    
    • Good interpersonal skills
    • Interest in working with the elderly
    • Ability to work well in a team setting is essential

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rates for this are listed below. This rate is based on the 1199 bargaining unit contract.
